Some of the best dim sum I have had in Vancouver. I was happy with how the food came out and the waiters were really helpful with picking things off the menu. I will definitely be back!

Not bad Dim Sum in the middle of Hastings St. I really do like this place and it is one of the more inexpensive places to go for it. The restaurant has free parking in the back but I prefer parking on the side streets just because the spaces are so tight. From my pictures you can see the prices although next time I will have to take some more photo's of the actual dim sum. They do a decent job of the beef balls, crystal prawns, sui mai and shrimp and beef rice wraps. Those are my favorites. This place is also very accessible by transit as it is close to Nanaimo st. and there is also a trolley transit stop outside. This is one of the few restaurants I know that serve live seafood and you can see the tanks with the fish, lobster and crabs by the back. If you're in the hood and craving dim sum this place will do in a pinch.

The outside looks pretty rundown but the inside is half way decent.
The food is solid but not particularly great. But keep in mind that solid Chinese food for VANCOUVER pretty much means it will be better than most other places in North America.
It's a very standard chinese restaurant (cantonese style) not really much to say. The service is ok and the prices are reasonable.
I'd rank Vancouver as #2 (maybe #1) in terms of Chinese food in North America. LA tops my list and Toronto is a close 3rd. -

This is my mother-in-law favourite restaurant because it's only few blocks away fr her house. We do not have any expectations of the food at east side Chinese restaurant.
We came here for dinner and ordered 8 course set menu of Alaska king crab.
Chicken - meat was pretty soft with the frozen taste.
Alaska king crab in three ways - steamed with garlic, deep fried and served with fried rice!
Deep fried squid - pretty ok
Stir fried beef with broccoli - sliced beef so salty
Sweet and sour pork - pork pretty dried inside and sauce so sweet.
Egg tofu with mushrooms - simple dish couldn't go wrong.
The price very reasonable and affordable. Can't ask for more. -

First time we are here. We came here with family on Rememberable day Monday. The restaurant is pretty busy already, but we got a table right away. We placed our order at 10:08am. The menu has quite a bit of selection.
The meatballs came first at 10:19am. The shrimp rice roll, chicken feet, chiu chow fun gor and beef tendons arrived at 10:19am. The beef with thousand year old egg came at 10:20am. Cha siu pastry at 10:22am. Fried tofu came at 10:33am.
The portion sizes are pretty good. The flavours are not bad. The price is a bit high, but if it is weekdays, you get 20% off.
We ordered a steamed milky bun with eggyolk at 10:48am as a dessert. It arrived at 10:58am.
The buns are full of fillings.
Will likely come back.
